As the Assistant Chief of Professional Development Dan Rigdon is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing all training activities and records.
 He also represents the fire district on the St. Charles County Fire Academy and responds to all multiple alarm incidents.

Dan started his Fire Service career as a Volunteer. After 9 years with SCFPD he took leave from the Fire Service retiring as a Battalion Chief. He was hired by St Peters Fire Protection District in 1995 as a Firefighter and was promoted to Captain in 1998 during Consolidation. He has been an Assistant Chief since 2007.

Dan is a member of the St Charles/ Warrren County Hazmat Team. He is currently Vice President of the St Charles County Fire Academy, and has been an Instructor for the Academy for 9 years.
