Cert LogoIn an emergency do you want to be a bystander or a responder? If you answered responder, you need to learn more about the upcoming CERT Training Course.

During the course participants will receive hands on training on:

  • Disaster preparedness
  • Fire safety/suppression
  • Disaster medical operation
  • Light search and rescue
  • Team organization
  • Disaster psychology
  • Hands on disaster exercise
Each participant will be issued emergency preparedness equipment and a student manual.

The eight-week CERT training course starts Jan. 14 and ends March 4. Classes will be held every Thursday until March 4 from 7 – 10 p.m. at Central County Fire and Rescue Station #3, 511 Willott Road, St. Peters.
