The Central County Fire & Rescue Explorer Program is designed for young adults from 14 to 20
years of age who are interested in learning about a career in the Fire Service.  The Post meets
twice a month for training and events.

After Explorers meet the requirements, they have the opportunity to apply skills they have
learned and gain valuable experience through the fire districts Ride Along Program.

Fire Explorers may also be involved in the following duties:

  • Fire Hydrant testing
  • Hose Testing
  • Pre-fire planning and building inspections
  • All phases of fire prevention and public relations
  • Station and vehicle upkeep
  • Assisting at the engine house post incident

We are now accepting applications for new Explorers.  If you are interested
