According to the U.S. census bureau there are 53 communities the same size as ours.  CCF&R ranked 49 in the total number of fire fighters and 51 in the number of fire fighters per square mile of coverage area.  There are 90,000 people in the CCF&R area, each day there are only 19 firefighters to serve everyone.

Do CCF&R staff members have the training to handle emergencies they face? Are there enough firefighters for our community? What does it take to be a firefighter now and in the future?
