Central County Fire & Rescue headquarters, 1 Timberbrook Dr in St. Peters is serving as a drop-off point for donations to the Cell Phones for Soldiers drive.

The donated phones are recycled for cash, and the proceeds are used to buy prepaid calling cards for U.S. soldiers serving in the Middle East.  The nonprofit organization's goal is to provide every U.S. soldier with a way to call home for free.
