The St. Peters/Central County Community Emergency Response Team is currently accepting applications for the next CERT Training Course. The course will be beginning on September 4th, 2007 and be held each Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm till 10:00 pm for nine weeks, ending on October 30th, 2007. Each class will be held at the Central County Fire and Rescue fire station #3 located at 511 Willott Road, St. Peters.

The registration fee is $25 and the course is limited to the first 25 registrations received. Each participant will be issued emergency preparedness equipment and a student manual. Each participant will receive hands on training on the following topics: Disaster preparedness Fire safety/suppression Disaster medical operations Light search and rescue Team organization Disaster psychology Hands on disaster exercise For more information please contact Assistant Chief Brown at 636-970-9700, ext. 403.
