I live in the county.  Am I allowed to burn on my property? 

You may only burn ordinary combustibles (wood, paper, vegetation) during the months September through April by permit only.  The burning must take place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.  For more information see Open Burning Restrictions.  You can obtain a permit application from our download area or by following this link .
