CERT Team Graduates 35 New Members |

Thursday, July 12th at the City of St. Peters Board of Alderman meeting 35 citizens who had recently completed the Community Emergency Response Team training received their graduation certificates from Mayor Len Pagano, Police Chief Tom Bishop and Fire Chief Russ Mason. Central County Fire and Rescue and the City of St. Peters Police Department have partnered together to prepare the community we serve by providing CERT training. Over the past three years more than 100 citizens have completed the disaster preparedness training. The CERT course requires approximately 20 hours of training and is held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at fire station #3 on Willott Road. Topics covered in this program include: The program is open to all citizens 18 years or older who meet basic qualifications. A $25 registration fee is required upon receipt of application. The next course will begin on September 4th and run through October 30th, 2007.
