How do I become a firefighter? E-mail

The minimum qualifications for the position of firefighter at Central County Fire & Rescue is:

  1. State Certified as FF II (NFPA 1001, 1992 Edition)
  2. Missouri State E.M.T. Certified
  3. High School Diploma or GED
  4. Due to the nature of our work you should not have any felony convictions .
